Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe speak out to ESPN colleagues after comments made on First Take.

Stephen A Smith and Shannon Sharpe don’t want “First Take” to come out of the mouths of two ESPN colleagues.

Smith and Sharpe both addressed Kirk Herbstreit and Chris Fowler’s comments during their talk College Football Playoffs Airing on Monday’s edition of the popular sports debate show.

And while Smith was more polished with his response, Sharpe let it be known that he doesn’t care how many ESPN bosses he has to go through if he hears shots on “First Take” again.

“I’ll be a good teammate,” Sharpe told Smith. “I’ll let it pass. Everyone is on ESPN. Because if you hadn’t taken the path you did, I would have set her a–es on fire. If we were on the same team, if we were going to work for the same network, don’t do that.

“Kirk, Chris Fowler, I promise you, if you ever mention a platform where I speak again, ‘I wonder what they’re going to say as negativity,’ I promise you, ESPN doesn’t have enough bosses to keep me off far from what I’m about to say. Don’t play with me.

Herbstreit and Fowler’s comments were approximate Ohio State Buckeyes Head football coach Ryan Day, where Smith accused them of misquoting him when he called for the coach’s firing.

“Stop it,” Smith said to the camera during his speech on the issue. “’First Take has to get him fired,’ that’s not true. I have that! Not ‘First Take.'” That was me, Stephen A. I didn’t say wrong: “That man, Ryan Day, should also go with a record of 66-10.” I didn’t stutter a bit, I don’t stutter anymore.

Herbstreit and Fowler were looking for the Buckeyes to win against the Tennessee Volunteers to advance to the next round of the playoffs.

As Day led the team to a dominant win, Herbstreit brought up the “crazy edge” that he said exists at Ohio State, which lashed out at Day after losing to Michigan for the fourth straight year in the rivalry game.

Then Herbstreit moved the conversation to “First Take.”

“’First Take’ tried to get him fired,” Herbstreit was heard saying. “They thought he was finished. So I’m excited to see what they’ll talk about on Monday after this performance. They kicked him out. They are trying to find a replacement. But here he is. He still has his hat on.” . He’s still training.

At the time, Herbstreit’s comments were interesting to say the least, considering he was talking about a show within his own network.
