The last game of the 2025 NFL regular season Maybe it was for the best and it came down to the last few seconds.
In the fourth quarter, 27 points were scored instead of 30 Baltimore Ravens kicker Tyler Loop missed what would have been a walk-off field goal to send the Ravens to the playoffs.
Instead, the AFC North title went to the Pittsburgh Steelers, who put together a series of miraculous fourth-quarter performances while the Ravens’ season ended in heartbreak.

It’s no secret, the face of ravens, Lamar Jacksonhadn’t been himself all season, but midway through the fourth quarter he had his best game of the season – and perhaps his career. On third-and-4 from midfield and trailing by three, Jackson dodged a sack and let one fly to Zay Flowers, who caught it brilliantly for the long touchdown, giving the Ravens a 17-13 lead. The Steelers didn’t sweat it, however, as they responded with an eight-play drive that ended with a Kenneth Gainwell touchdown to take a 20-17 lead with 3:49 left. But apparently Jackson saved his best for last and found Flowers again, this time for 64 yards, to take a 24-20 lead with 2:20 left.
The Steelers quickly got through midfield and on third-and-10 Aaron Rodgers With 55 seconds left, Calvin Austin had a wide lead on the score. However, Chris Boswell missed the extra point, so the lead was only two points. The Ravens took the kickoff to their own 47-yard line and had three timeouts – a golden opportunity.

Jackson completed his first pass, but after an illegal formation and two incompletions, he faced a fourth-and-7 pass. Jackson said a prayer and Isaiah Likely emphasized it for an incredible catch. With two seconds left, Jackson knelt to set up the field goal unit in the middle of the field, but it was in vain the Steelers were the ones celebrating a shot that went wide to the right.

The scoring started from an unlikely source as Lamar Jackson hit Devontez Walker for a 38-yard touchdown to take an early lead. Both teams then traded punts before the Steelers turned the ball over on downs, and the Ravens took advantage by kicking a field goal early in the second quarter to take a 10-0 lead. Pittsburgh responded with a field goal of its own for its first score.
In the final seconds of the first half, the Steelers benefited from a defensive penalty that moved them to the 2-yard line with two seconds left. They opted for the touchdown instead of a field goal, but the decision backfired as Kenneth Gainwell was fed up when the clock showed zero.

Luckily, the Steelers got the ball early in the second half and didn’t waste their opening drive, finding the end zone to make it 10-0. Then, in his first game back from a collapsed lung, TJ Watt caught a batted ball at the line for an interception. Pittsburgh then took its first lead of the game with a field goal.

The Steelers, with the 42-year-old Rodgers and a head coach in Mike Tomlin that fans were willing to give up on, finished the season 10-7 and will host Houston Texans on Monday evening in the wildcard round.
