Soulja Boy claps back online over Crypto Ball’s performance
If clips from Soulja Boy carry out At the Crypto Ball in DC, he hit social media and the internet wasted no time in calling him a sellout. But in a video shared by LiveBitezSoulja clapped back and explained why he took the stage.
Soulja, being Soulja, flashed his money on camera and said Vice President Kamala Harris and Barack Obama haven’t called him or offered to put money in his pockets, but Trump has. The “Crank That” rapper also claimed the event wasn’t even for Trump and he didn’t show up.
“Y’all want me to not answer the phone for the president, that’s the president of the damn United States. Trump wasn’t even there. It was the Crypto Ball for crypto n****s,” Soulja said.
Additionally, Soulja let it be known that he wouldn’t care if someone tried to cancel him because of his performance at the event. He even mentioned that he would do it again if he could. “I don’t give a fuck what no one talks about. I’ll do whatever the fuck I want to do. And I will come back.”
Soulja Boy makes it a point to secure the bag
In another clip from LiveBitez, Soulja said he felt like the crypto crew and Trump were trying to play him, but he remained honest and admitted that it only mildly bothered him.
“But I’m 50/50, but I don’t give a fuck. Halfway through I thought, man, fucking Trump. I don’t care about him and halfway through it was like it was the president. But whatever, man, I don’t give a fuck.”
He remained honest and said he went on stage because he had bills to pay.
“I keep it up gangster, it was 50/50. Half of me was like, I don’t know, the other half was like, I need this bag, so it is what it is. If you’re all crazy, I understand. But hey, I needed the money man. I won’t lie. I needed that bag, buddy,” Soulja said, laughing.
