The General Directorate for Meteorology (DGM) announces between Wednesday and Friday in several provinces of Morocco’s snowfall, thunderstorms and strong gusts of wind.
In the provinces of Ifrane, Khénifra, Sefrou, Al-Haouz, Midelt, Boulemane, Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Taza and Guecif, a snow accumulation of 25 to 50 cm are planned for Thursday. 5 to 10 cm of snowfall are also expected in Figuig, Jerada, Taourirt, Al Hceima and Chefchaouen.
For Friday, falls from 15 to 30 cm stormed into Boulemane, Khénifra, Sefrou, Ifrane, Midelt and Azilal, while Jerada, Figuig and Taourirt could receive 5 to 10 cm.
The provinces Tangier, Tétouan, Fahs-Anjra, M’diq-Fnideq, Larache and Chefchaouen will undergo stormy showers (20-35 mm) between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.
Finally, wind gusts from 75 to 90 km/h and other provinces are expected in Al Hceima, Chefchaouen and Taza on Thursday.
