Snowfall is expected in several Moroccan provinces this weekend
Rabat – Snowfall is forecast in some provinces of Morocco at altitudes above 1,800 meters (5,900 feet), the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) reported on Friday.
Snowfall in the range of 10 to 40 cm (4 to 16 inches) is expected in the provinces of Azilal, Al Haouz, Tinghir, Midelt, Ouarzazate and Taroudant from 8 a.m. Saturday to 12 p.m. on Sunday, according to the DGM weather warning orange level.
