Arne Slot dismissed the theory that Liverpool could benefit from the defeat of the FA Cup on Sunday against Plymouth Argyle, and called for his team show a “different side” if they face Merseyside Everton tomorrow evening.

Slot would have gotten stronger in Plymouth
Slot said he intended to play a stronger team against Plymouth, but the circumstances meant that his hands were bound.
“It was difficult because the plan was to play with Joe (Gomez) for 60 minutes or more. The plan was to start Curtis (Jones), but he came on Sunday and said he didn’t feel good enough to play. Then we suddenly missed two important players, ”he said.
“I think people know Darwin (Nunez ‘) situation that he became a father a day or two before the game, and that happened in Spain, so he came a little later.

Gomez, who limps in Plymouth in Plymouth after only 11 minutes, is used by Trent Alexander-Arnold to return.
“Trent completed part of a training session with us yesterday. Let’s see how he is today,” said Slot. “Hopefully he will train with us again today and then we will decide whether we will bring him to the game.
