Rabat authorities in FeZ arrested seven people between the ages of 26 and 47 on Monday because of their alleged participation in fraud, fake and cyber crime.
The operation was carried out by the regional brigade of the judicial police in coordination with the General Directorate for Territorial Monitoring (DGSt).
Investigations have shown that the suspects were supposedly cheated by mistakenly promised to do so secure Visa appointments.
The arrests followed extensive inquiries that led to the identification of the suspects.
During the search, the police confiscated identification documents, visa Application materials, considerable sums of money, deposit deposits and money transfer documents, which assume that they are connected to the fraudulent system.
The authorities also confiscated computers, tablets and mobile phones, which were assumed that they contained digital evidence for fraud.
The suspects were taken into police custody in relation to further investigations within the framework of the supervision of the public prosecutor.
The investigation aims to uncover the full scope of the operation and the other parties involved.
