In the Premier League, four games were played in front of the two evening lights on Saturday.
In the early kick-off, Nottingham Forest took a big step towards Champions League football by defeating Manchester City in front of a packed town square.
A strike in the second half of Callum Hudson -odoi was enough to record the three points and to raise the tricky trees to third place, over their opponents and with a five-point buffer to Chelsea in fifth place.
Liverpool brought 16 points on the table in Anfield and came from behind to beat Southampton.
Will Smallbone used a defensive mix between Alisson and Virgil van Dijk to give the saint a shock lead before half -time.
But the red came out in the second half and a quick fire between Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah, but the home team in front of us.
Salah then got his second from the penalty of the penalty, scored his 27th goal of the campaign and sealed the victory.

Brighton 2-1 Fulham
Brighton secured a dramatic 2-1 win over Fulham in the Amex Stadium, with Joao Pedros 98th minute proving the decisive moment.
In the first half, visitors took the lead by Raul Jimenez, who was finished after a brilliant run and cross from Alex Iwobi.
However, Fulham’s advantage was short -term when Brighton reacted only a few minutes later.
Yasin Ayari delivered an inviting free kick into the box, so Jan Paul van Hecke shot his first goal for the club and gave up the score 1-1.
Brighton dominated the second half and relentlessly pushed for a winner. They achieved several chances, including an inadmissible goal for Simon Adingra after a Var check for offside, and Danny Welbeck missed a free header from a Joao Pedro cross.
When the game came into the stop time, Brighton’s persistence paid off. The replacement of Harrison Reed fouled Pedro in the penalty area in the last moments and put the referee on the spot without hesitation.
Pedro appeared and confidently sent his punishment past Bernd Leno and secured all three points for the seagulls with practically the last kick of the game.

Crystal Palace 1-0 Ipswich
Crystal Palace secured his third victory in a row in a row with a highly competitive 1-0 victory against Ipswich in Selhurst Park.
The late strike by Ismaila Sarr showed the difference in an entertaining collision in which many opportunities were taken at both ends.
The first half was a lively affair in which both sides threatened to break the deadlock. The Palace should have done within two minutes when Adam Whartons brought the more precise pass Eddie Nketiah to the goal, but the goalkeeper of Ipswich, Josh Palmer, achieved an excellent rescue.
Ipswich replied immediately when Jaden forced Dean Henderson Philogenic Philogenic.
The end-to-end campaign continued when Eberechi Eze came closer and was rejected by an excellent block by Jacob Greaves.
The visitors had more chances when Liam Delap and Philogenic were both, but no side could find the network before half -time.
The second half began with an almost missed EZE, the dashed shot of which hit the post.
Ipswich then created some of his own chances, with Delap and Philogenic Henderson testing again. At the other end, Sarr and Matheus Munoz Palmer forced to impressive parades when the palace pushed for the breakthrough.
The crucial moment arrived in the 82nd minute. Wharton found Daichi Kamada on the edge of the box, and after a distraction in front of Kalvin Phillips, the ball fell kindly to Sarr, who produced a delightful chip over Palmer to take the lead.
This result moves the palace to 11th place after winning nine of their last 11 games in all competitions.
In the meantime, Ipswich’s battles remain because in 2025 they stay without a league victory and in 18th place, five points with security.
