A partnership framework agreement was signed in Rabat on Wednesday to develop and implement training programs in the maritime fishing professions that are intended for criminal authorities.
This agreement aims to strengthen the training offer by adapting to the needs of the labor market by personalizing the programs in accordance with the professional career of the prisoners.
The general delegate for prison management and reference, Mohamed Salah Tamek, stated that this theoretical and practical training would increase the likelihood of professional integration of the participants after their release.
First, 300 prisoners from several cities (Nador, Tangier, Casablanca etc.) will benefit from functional literacy, maritime security, marine environmental protection and net production.
