School education: The government council approves a draft law


The government council approved Bill No. 59.21 for school education, which was presented by the Minister for National Education, Mohamed Saad Berada. This project is part of the implementation of the constitutional provisions and the high royal guidelines in the reform of the education system in accordance with the strategic vision 2015-2030 and the framework law No. 51.17.

It is part of the initiatives for educational reform and the Roadmap 2022-2026, which aims to improve the basic knowledge of the students, to strengthen access to extra-curricular activities and to fight against school levy. The aim is to create a new school model through “pioneering institutions” that focuses on equal opportunities and quality.

In addition, the project deals with the organization of institutions, the creation of preschool classes in the public sector and the role of private institutions. In addition, it deals with the educational model and the methods for financing, administration and governance of schools.
