The Safi Court of Appeal marked the beginning of the judicial year 2025 by presenting the results of the activities in 2024.
The first president, Mohamed Chattioui, recorded a decrease in registered cases from 13,904 in 2023 to 13,533 in 2024, while the number of convicted cases increased from 13,663 to 15,146.
Thanks to the cooperation of the entire judicial system, the Safi courts achieved a 100% quota in various areas.
Revenue from fines and other fees amounted to 11,148,534.30 dirhams. During the remote hearings, 398 sessions were held and 6,297 cases were dealt with.
Attorney General Ali Chafaki also mentioned the positive results in terms of legal certainty and a reduction in pre-trial detention, and emphasized the fight against violence against women and children.
