Cristiano Ronaldo took full advantage of the Saudi Pro League’s winter break and took his family on vacation to Lapland.
At 39, the Portuguese icon continues to exceed expectations, scoring 16 goals in 19 games for Al-Nassr this season.
However, despite their outstanding form, Al-Nassr have struggled as a team under the leadership of former AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli.
The club is currently in fourth place in the SPL standings, 11 points behind leaders Al-Ittihad.
With the SPL taking a mid-season break and matches only resuming on January 9, Ronaldo took the opportunity to enjoy some time off with his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their children.
The family decided on a magical trip to Lapland, the northernmost region of Finland, known for its breathtaking northern lights, winter sports resorts and reputation as the official home of Santa Claus.

Ronaldo shared glimpses of the holiday on social media, including a stunning photo of himself standing in the snow in just shorts.
He captioned the post, “Merry Christmas everyone,” beaming with holiday cheer.
During their time in Lapland, the family explored various activities, including visiting Santa Claus and riding snowmobiles.
However, Ronaldo stayed away from skiing as most footballers are typically banned from taking part in high-risk sports due to injury concerns outlined in their contracts.
Instead, Rodriguez and the kids tried their hand at skiing while Ronaldo enjoyed other aspects of the winter wonderland.
The trip was a stark contrast to her life in Riyadh, where temperatures hover around 17 degrees in December.
However, in Lapland the temperature can drop as low as -30°C in the winter months, making for a completely different experience for the family.
Ronaldo will be back in action soon when Al-Nassr take on Al-Okhdood in the SPL on January 9th.
