I’m sharing a little review of the year and what I plan to do in 2025.

Hello friends! Happy New Year’s Eve! Any plans tonight? We eat Indian food and set off fireworks in our pajamas. No crazy plans and I’m so glad lol. I’m looking forward to sleeping early and heading out for a family hike in the morning!

It’s funny because I thought the last year of the pilot’s military career would be the LONGEST year of my life. I thought it would be an agonizingly slow journey to the finish line. The reality is that this year has flown by. I can’t believe he’s finishing things up, he’s changed command and we’re preparing for his retirement ceremony at the end of the month. There are many big changes ahead of us.

This year has been full of wonderful trips, fun moments with the kids (who are growing up way too fast. Liv turns 13 next week!!!), time with friends, events, time with family at home, time in nature, etc A great year for my healing journey. I celebrated a year free of eye problems and autoimmune symptoms last year and am so grateful to have had a year where I really settled into my routine and felt the best I have in years (decades???). I created a free e-book about my autoimmune disease journey here and things that helped me if you want to check it out!

Professional summary:

From one Integrative Health Practitioner From my perspective, this has been a year of learning, expansion, and customer success. It was so amazing to see their victories and I reviewed over 100 lab tests this year! In October I was a winner of the 100 Day Challenge for EquiLife (#7! Woop!) and a Winner of the IHP Champion Top Five last spring. I was also invited to join the Centurion program and participate in a three-month training course with 15 other IHPs and EquiLife faculty to take our laboratory analysis to the next level. From then on, I was able to read labs for EquiLife clients in addition to my own.

I feel so blessed every day to be part of this company with an incredible mission and the inspiring people behind it. I can’t wait to see what CPI has in stock for next year!!

It seems superstitious to say this, but the blog had its best ad revenue year in at least five years. My SEO team has been working hard behind the scenes and we are really starting to see the results of their efforts. It’s still my goal to post entertaining and personal posts (the kind I’d like to read) here alongside SEO-driven and helpful content, because that’s what brings new readers to the blog.

The podcast continued to do well, but one of my goals is to put more energy into the pod, release more episodes, and grow in the new year. Another goal is to post more on LTKbecause I love sharing outfits and gift ideas.

As far as sponsorship goes, this year I worked with a company that I admire and love: NOW groceries. I am so grateful for their continued partnership and continued collaboration in 2025. I receive sponsorship offers every day, but I turn them down almost all because they are companies and products that don’t align with my values or don’t sell Products I don’t use or don’t like. I will never promote a company on the blog that I don’t 100% love and support.

I am also grateful for affiliate partners including Nutrisense, EquiLife, CPI, Connection, Higher DOSAGE, Danger coffee, Organifi, OneSkin, ButcherBox, Rowing, canopy, Somavedic, Air doctor, Vivarays, Pvolveand to everyone who purchases through my links. It directly supports our family (and helps keep this little blog going) and I really appreciate it. I also started working with Oliveda And Wave of life this year; Two companies that I’m really excited about!

This month was the final month of Fit Team workouts as we design my new signature program. It is a 6-month program that includes functional lab testing, supplements and protocols, and personalized recommendations to help you feel your best. It’s basically the culmination of everything I’ve learned and used with my own clients, as well as myself, to dramatically change our health and energy levels. I can’t wait to share it with you in early February!

Personal and health goals:

My health goal is to continue working on the habits that make me feel my best, such as quarterly detoxes, smart supplements, restorative practices, diet changes, walks, workouts (I like a mix of strength training, barre, spin, pilates, etc. ). Hot yoga) and stress management. My goal is to minimize toxins as much as possible, correct deficiencies, and continue to use functional laboratory testing as an amazing tool. I’m proud of myself for taking responsibility for my health and getting to the root cause of what I was experiencing and being able to do that share everything I learned along the way.

Keep practicing Spanish! This year, I started working with a tutor from Italki to refresh my knowledge and as we return to Spain this year I would like to be more confident in Spanish. (I minored in Spanish and can understand it perfectly, but I’m not 100% confident in speaking it.)

Go back to Bible study. after the exit in the spring. I had just started working with EquiLife clients and was so excited to make as many calls as I could! Now that I know how to use the platform a little better and save time for Bible study, I want to make it a priority again.

Continue to be the best mother, wife and friend I can be. I want the people in my life to know how much I love them and that I lead them every day with a grateful, patient, and loving heart. Some days are harder than others lol, but a morning gratitude check-in really impacts how I feel for the rest of the day.

I’d love to hear about your year and your goals! What are you proud of in the past year and what are you currently working on? Do you have health goals? Travel plans? I want to hear everything!

I wish you a happy and wonderful New Year and see you soon!

xoxo
