The Ministry of Health and Social Protection announced on Saturday the resumption of regular methadone distribution in specialized health centers after solving pension disorders.
In a press release, the Ministry assured that all addictive centers were delivered to sufficient quantities at the national level, which guarantees the continuity of treatment for the affected patients. This measure results from international cooperation, which made it possible to secure sources of care.
The ministry has confirmed its commitment to strengthening the drug authority of pharmaceuticals and to improve the supply mechanisms in coordination with national and international partners to prevent future interruptions in the distribution of methadone.
