The presidents of the regional councils said on Friday on Friday in Rabat, their mobilization for optimal implementation of the advanced regionalization and the commitment of regions in important development projects. This dynamic is part of the surveillance meeting of this strategic project under the chair of the Interior Minister Abdelouafi Laftit in the presence of the Walis and representative of the Ministry.
The meeting made it possible to assess the recommendations that result from the latest national foundations of advanced regionalization that take place in Tangier and to sketch a roadmap to speed up the process. Mbarka Bouaida, President of the Regional Council of Guelmim-Oute Nomen and the Association of the Morocco regions, emphasized how important it is to update the legislative and regulatory texts to support the realities on site.
The presidents of the regions of Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra and Béni Mellal-Khénifra in turn insisted on the support of the state, the need for a realistic assessment and the ambition of a new generation of structuring projects that strengthen the attractiveness of the areas and regional development nationally.
