Reginae Carter opens up about reuniting with YFN Lucci after getting out of prison

YFN Lucci is about to be released from prison this month, but it appears Queen Carter has no plans to throw him a welcoming party.

Reginae Carter opens up about reuniting with YFN Lucci after his exit

If you remember, YFN Lucci and Reginae Carter dated for two years. Now that he’s about to be released from prison, Reginae talks about whether she would be willing to reconnect with him.

Reginae opened up about a possible reconnection with Lucci during her appearance on The Morning Hustle Show with her mother Toya Carter. When host Lore’l asked if Reginae would stick with Lucci, Toya quickly interjected and said: “I don’t think it will derail the block season.”

Toya added: “She doesn’t have to turn blocks. She just needs to concentrate, as she says. But I want her to find love with someone who will treat her right and respect her. Someone she can build with and grow with, all that good stuff. But if you rotate the block, that doesn’t mean there aren’t any blocks being rotated.”

As for Reginae’s feelings, she made it clear that she was happy for Lucci, his children and his family. She also said that there was no bad blood between them, but directly stated that there was no reunion.

“But turning the block and being together again, that’s not going to happen.”

Reginae Carter also spoke about her decision to pursue a private life. She feels like people pay more attention to who she’s with than her work.

“My relationships have been the highlight of my life. I just feel like people are always obsessed with my relationships and don’t really pay attention to my craft and talent. I’m going to release a movie that same week, but then I’ll be seen with a boy and that’ll be posted and not my movie. I want people to focus on me because these men are a (distraction) in my life,” Reginae said.
