Rapper Cardi B demands Offset get a divorce “today.”
Less than a week later Cardi B seemed to be letting cooler heads prevail in her current relationship with her estranged husband offsetthe “Bodak Yellow” rap star takes off his gloves – again.
The Bronx native took to X on Wednesday to make several heated posts in response to the Migos alum’s accusation that she appears to be more focused on men than her music career.
After reminding him that she was living a single life, Cardi went a step further and demanded that he sign her divorce papers immediately.

“Stop limiting yourself to these (people) to look like (a) him,” he wrote, before calling her a “fire (woman)” who “(releases) good music, but (you) focused on D-Ck.” .”
Cardi quoted Offset’s post and responded that she has every right to live her best single life.
“So dating means because I’m single that I only worry about my dick?” she asked. “You sound like an idiot,” Cardi continued, “trying to fake being nice after doing what you wanted from the start.”
She then accused Offset of having similar ulterior motives for his actions.

“(They) are trying to give these people a narrative,” she claimed.
Cardi then concluded her answer with a firm request. “Fuck off and sign the papers TODAY.”

Offset lays out his terms for accepting Cardi’s divorce petition
Cardi would remain silent following her divorce filing on the social media app, but Offset was ready to lay out his terms immediately for all to see.
“If (you) share custody, I will,” he replied, as transcribed by AND! News.
“(You’re) not worried about the music,” Offset then surmised, “(you’re) worried about D-CK.” Everyone can see it, and all you talk about is (damn). Burned in clubs – no music, no nothing. Just drama.”
With one final remark, he alluded to Cardi B missing him more than she let on, calling her “single and miserable.”
“(The) last 10 Spaces, (they) mention me,” he continued, referencing Cardi’s recent conversations with fans about X Spaces. “Get dressed, Mom.”
Most of Cardi and Offset’s posts were deleted soon after.

A few days ago it was still “peaceful” between the fighting ex-partners
Today’s clash between the hip-hop heavyweights is a stark contrast to what happened between them last week.
On December 14, Offset’s 33rd birthday, Cardi revealed on another X Spaces that they had both waved the white flag.
“We’ve been peaceful for over a week, so we like the energy,” she revealed.
“We’re not guys. “We don’t really talk to each other,” she later admitted, “so I think we’re at a point where we’re really doing healthy co-parenting.”
The former couple even publicly showed off their tentative peace agreement in Miami, where the two celebrated Offset’s birthday together. Cardi admitted that the calm between them made her “really happy.”
“The last three months it’s been drama, there’s been arguments, it’s been madness,” she said.

“But this week it’s been like eight days where it’s not drama, it’s not bullshit,” Cardi continued, “it gets to a point where everyone moves on in a healthy way.”
Cardi B seems to be aware of how damaging her marriage can be at times
In a show of emotional clarity, Cardi opened up earlier this year about how she and Offset are having the same issues in their marriage.
“The answer to getting back together isn’t having a good night at the club and fucking all night,” she admitted after spending New Year’s Eve together.
“We need to work on our shit. We need to work on our communication,” she continued. “There are things he needs to work on, there are things I need to work on.”
However, she admitted that despite their problems, they still have the highest regard for each other.
“It’s not even about love,” Cardi explained.

“We are best friends. And it’s like, “Okay. “Well, there was a time when I didn’t have a best friend or a support system.” It’s not even about, “How do you leave a partner?” How do you stop talking to your best friend?”
Cardi and Offset have three young children and are hoping they’ll figure it out
However things end between them, Cardi B and Offset know that the most important factor is the happiness of their three children: 6-year-old Kulture, 3-year-old Wave and a third girl who was born in September.
