Jose Mourinho says that the 3-1 defeat of his Fenerbahce team against Rangers is “a good result” and his team “was very bad everywhere.”
Mourinho has won every great European honor, including the Europa League with Manchester United, but has a job this season after Rangers has achieved a famous victory in Istanbul.
But Mourinho says that the tie is not over and supports his side to be much better at Ibrox next week.
“I don’t think it is fair to say that we were defensively bad because we were very bad everywhere,” said Mourinho.
“Maybe you laugh, but for me it was a good result because we could be greater than this in the way we performed.
“Defensive we made incredible, incredible mistakes. They defend a lot with a very low block and then had dangerous counters and we had no pace to follow it.

Rangers’ interim boss Barry Ferguson was full of praise for Mourinho after led his side to victory.
He said: “It is only half -time in the tie because Fenerbahce has one of the best managers it has ever been.
“I am proud of the boys because they got through a lot this season. They deserve a lot of recognition.
“We have to be ready for the next Thursday and I’ll tell you something, I will have them ready.”
