Rabat: an urban transformation for a promising future

The new Rabat development plan aims to raise the city into the rank of the main capitals of the world. During a press conference, the President of the Council of the municipality of Rabat, Fatiha El Moudni, emphasized that this project aimed to meet the expectations of residents and visitors, while Morocco is preparing for the focus of the most important international events.

Ms. El Moudni emphasized the importance of this plan to strengthen Rabat’s status as an administrative, cultural and tourist capital. Progress investments should have a positive effect on the creation of jobs and the economic dynamics in the region.

The expansion of the streets, which is facilitated by an expropriation in the five districts, will improve traffic and reduce traffic jams to the main capital backlog.

The manager also said that the sale of real estate, as they are located in Sania Gharbia in the Ocean District, takes place in a regulated and amicable framework with the management of state domains. The Plan adoption process took place in accordance with the laws set into force.
