According to the results of the HCP situations survey, Moroccan households remain very pessimistic about their rescue capacity. In the first quarter of 2025, only 11.2 % of them plan within the next 12 months, around 88.8 % that do not present it. The opinion balance remains strongly negative at -77.6 points.
At the same time, food inflation is still an important problem. 97.6 % of households explain an increase in food prices in the past 12 months. The corresponding opinion balance remains extremely low at -97.4 points.
This trend should continue after 81.6 % of households, which expects a new increase in food prices in the coming year. These results reflect increasing pressure on purchasing power and an economic situation, which is perceived by a large majority of the population.
