The production price index of the “manufacturing industry without oil refinement”, according to the High Commissioner for Planning (HCP), rose by 0.1% by 0.1% by December 2024.
This development results from the price increase of 0.4% of the “production of electrical devices”, 0.5% of “metallurgy”, 0.3% of the “clothing industry”, 0.2% of the “chemical industry”, the “automotive industry” and the “paper and cardboard industry” and 0.1% of the “production of metal products” and the “textile industry”.
The prices for “food industry” and the “production of rubber and plastic products” fell by 0.6%, while the “leather and shoe industry” decreased by 0.9%.
Finally, the price for the production of “extractactive industry”, “production and distribution of electricity” and “production and distribution of water” recorded stagnation in January 2025.
