I have been against antibiotics for bacterial infection since yesterday afternoon, and I should quickly feel better from previous experiences. I refer to the symptoms that I have reported in my last post. It turned out that I didn’t feel better until last Monday, but until then I was pretty sure what it was, so I sent my doctor. He sent me to a test on the same day and we received the results on Wednesday. This is lively for the medical system these days, it can take weeks for me to enter a specialist, but luckily I didn’t have to see it personally and he reacts very quickly to news.

This turned out to be recurred Urinary tract infection I had back in 2021. Since then I have had no problems with this area of my anatomy because of A Procedure that I undergone in 2022. After this round of infection was thrown out in a few days, I will follow my doctor (urologist) to find out what went wrong. It is possible or several of the installed clips Urolift The procedure was reversed, which can be determined in a minimally invasive procedure with follow-up. It was a week in which it was not 100% felt now. During this time I was able to make the most days 30 -minute trips, each with a short session of strength training for the lower and upper body, which is in order for maintaining the strength in a short time like this. I will soon feel good enough to increase time. But when I go through such things, I always have things rethinking. I made too much out of my training. I talked about it polarized training In the past, but my favorite interpretation of it is Clarence Bass’s Rule of thumb “I go and I sprint, I don’t do anything in between”. For him, this means most days at brisk walks, a short but intensive strength training of 1 day and a short but intensive cardio. In my case, I should drive a little longer for the most days, complemented with rare short intensive training days (with strength training, intervals and sprints on the bike). The discussion about simple cycling for relaxation is fun and the landscape in the Netherlands is beautiful and the Dutch cycling infrastructure is astonishing. But “bloom where you are planted”, I can find similar relaxation on bike paths or quieter roads near me.
