For the longest I had time with latency when recording audio or the time that is required for recorded sound to register on the screen. I would insert my audio interface to my computer, all of my drums all microfit and it is difficult for me to synchronize my things with what I tried to record. The first generation From Presonus’ Quante -Audio interfaces, my problems solved a decade ago. They used faster than USB-Thunderbolt compounds to give me a delay of zero, sometimes thanks to the no-blue connection, which it shares with Presonus’ Studio One software.
The latest quantum HD interfaces from Presonus have further increased the usage factor. You will receive USB-C connectivity, an even cleaner design, a better screen and an instrument entrances in front of front panel instruments that were developed in collaboration with the Presonus-Muttergesellschaft Fender. There is even an automatic level of reinforcement for inputs now, which means that a person can set up a large studio himself.
If you are looking for an affordable audio interface that competes with heavy rackets from Universal Audio, Apogee, Focusrite, Audience or SSL, the new HD models from Presonus Quantum HD are fantastic and sound great. If you are a studio user, you are a child’s play.

Both the HD 2 and HD 8 models are not much to see and hide on the desktop of a serious home studio -enthusiasts, among other things. They are both black boxes with blue accents and color screens and look relatively inconspicuous if they are not used. (This is nice for expensive studio equipment, which sometimes scream “I go!”) The larger model can be mounted rack, the smaller one for desktop or mobile use. You have no frame to assemble it.

The construction of the device is solid and metallic, with beautiful large ventilation slots on the sides to keep them cool for longer tracking meetings. I like that it only requires a standard three-tray stream cable, so that you do not have to deal with a wallware and that it quickly combines with a modern USB-C device.
I was a long -time Presonus user of everything from his Faderport controller (USB devices with which you can use faders to play back in playback in Most DAW software) And Monitor the station (An outdoor box in which you can press and exchange several speakers with simple button.) The equipment works well and costs less than most competitors.
Pro animal equivalents of brands such as Universal Audio and Apogee can cost between a little and many multiplicates depending on the category, and in my experience it simply doesn’t sound better. The Quantum HD interface compete easily The very popular models with 8 entrances from universal audio With regard to audio and processing quality. The universal audio models are currently the gold standard in the category and costs over twice as much per unit.
Studio One immediately recognizes the quanta -hd 8 and plays well, so that you enable things like the introduction of 48 -v -phantom stream for condenser microphones and the setting of levels within the software, instead of a strange intermediate software between the interface and the DAW too use.
