Postecoglou said: “There is a lot about them (the players). I get the stack at the moment, it’s really easy for people to put the boot into the player and question the players, but that’s nothing I do.
“We were disappointed last night that we didn’t go the way we wanted it, and we didn’t appear on the levels – but that does not define this group of players in my eyes.
“We will go out there on Sunday and bring out more of a performance that is reflected where we are. I have a lot of faith in these players and what they go through and how they deal with it. “
No players back for Villa Clash
The reduction of Postecoglou is a paralyzing list of injuries that has stunted its progress this season.
