Piers Morgan revealed on Sunday that he suffered a broken femur that required surgery after tripping in a London restaurant.
The former Good Morning Britain presenter, who now hosts Piers Morgan Uncensored, posted on social media a picture of himself in a hospital bed, detailing that he had tripped on a step, broken his femoral neck so badly that he needed a new hip and had to use crutches for six weeks.
But he was still in a joking mood, adding at the end: “The new year is off to a great start” and then: “I blame you.” Donald Trump.”
Morgan’s feed was full of well-wishers wishing him a speedy recovery.
Morgan has hosted “Piers Morgan Uncensored” since 2022, which often features a variety of ideological guests and arguments on the show.
Morgan fought with the Pink Floyd frontman on Friday Roger WatersHe accused his guest of trying to “support terrorists and powerful dictatorships.”
During the interview, Waters argued that the Russian President Vladimir Putin “has really tried not to hurt civilians” during his ongoing invasion of Ukraine and called recently captured Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro the “duly democratically elected leader” of Venezuela, even though his election was widely described as fraudulent by international observers and critics in his own country.
Last year he also had viral, tense interviews with Candace Owens and Joy Reid. He accused Owens of profiting from conspiracy theories surrounding the killing Charlie Kirkwhile arguing with Reid last year over her surprise exit from MSNBC – now called MS NOW.

“Joy, I mean, let’s be honest. I don’t think you were fired after all these years because of the color of your skin or because you’re a black woman. I think you were fired because your show was becoming more and more unpopular,” Morgan said.
