The Osmosun® Group, an important player in sea water relaxation and in Brack through solar energy, generated sales of 1.9 million euros (M €) compared to the financial year 2024 compared to € 2023.
This decline in the results from unforeseen costs associated with projects in Mauritania and Cap Vert, which led to reducing sales of EUR 0.7 million due to fees.
The contracts signed in 2022 and 2023, especially in the Caribbean (Saint Kitts and Nevis) and in Africa (Cap Vert, Morocco) as well as smaller contracts in 2023 and 2024, contributed to this turnover.
Osmosun sold 9 desalination units in 2024 and brought its total amount to 78 units sold, which is about 4.5 million cubic meters produced water and 7,439 tons of CO2. The order book amounted to € 0.7 million on December 31, 2024 compared to € 2.6 million in the previous year due to the lack of new major projects. However, the company has signed contracts worth EUR 0.5 million since the end of the financial year, including three projects that were launched by its subsidiary Osmosun Maroc in January.
In addition, Osmosun plans to strengthen its efforts to reduce costs and increase additional funds for the extension of the cash horizon estimated until July 2025.
