The national office for electricity and drinking water (Onee) started the first phase of a 41 million dh project, which aimed to improve the supply of drinking water in the municipality of Mkanssa and the surrounding communities Sidi Kacem and Moulay Yaacoub.
This project, which is financed by a loan from the German Development Bank, includes the installation of 28.5 km pipes. The second phase planned for December 2025 includes the construction of a 500 m³ tank and a pumping station.
In addition, this project will benefit more than 72,000 inhabitants and contribute to improving living conditions and socio -economic development in the region.
