Nigeria: 792 people arrested for crypto romance scam

792 people have been arrested in Nigeria as part of a raid on a crypto romance ring. Many of those taken into custody at the Victoria Island site were foreign nationals, including 148 from China. The scam targeted victims around the world by establishing romantic relationships with their brands via social media and then manipulating them into purchasing fake crypto investments.
