Age is just a number for Nicole Kidmans “Babygirl” director Halina Reijn.
During an interview for the erotic thriller, the director defended the age difference between her two leads, Kidman (57) and Harris Dickinson (28).
“When we see a film where the male actor is the same age as the female actress, we find it strange. That’s crazy. “It should be completely normal for age differences to change and for women to have different relationships,” Reijn, 49, says In the magazine.

This wasn’t the first time Kidman worked on a film in which an older woman was interested in a younger man. This year, the actress also starred in the Netflix series “A Family Affair,” with Zac Efron, 37, as her love interest.
