Nicole Kidman and daughter go out at the pre-Golden Globes party on Sunday
Nicole Kidman celebrated the beginning of 2025 Awards season along with her 16-year-old daughter Sunday Rose In the magazine‘s annual Best Performances Party in Los Angeles.
The mother-daughter duo posed together at the annual event at Chateau Marmont on Saturday, January 4, celebrating the year’s top talent. Kidman, 57, looked chic in a blue shirt, an oversized blazer and pants, which she accented with a blue shirt, an oversized blazer and a pair of pointed black heels. Sunday, meanwhile, rocked an embellished light blue two-piece with black tights. Both women wore their hair down in waves.

“Just there for her. Just being a mother,” she added. “I was like, ‘You had this baby.’ “I try to give her her own space, you know? Don’t be arrogant or dominant in any way.”

Believe got out with her mother in December at The Hollywood Reporter‘s annual Women In Entertainment Gala at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Dressed in a black and white jacket and matching tweed skirt, she stood next to her famous mother, who wore a black dress with a blue blouse-style collar.
Both girls supported Kidman alongside their father in April at the AFI Life Achievement Awards Gala takes place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. The actress was honored at the event with the Lifetime Achievement Award, which is considered the highest honor in American cinema and has previously been honored by celebrities such as: Julie Andrews, Meryl Streep, Denzel Washington, Tom Hanks, Diane Keaton, Al Pacino And Barbra Streisand.
Kidman spoke at the event about the “tremendous happiness” in her life before praising her family for their unwavering support.
“There is also the most important thing, love,” she added. “Big, big love. And then there is the love of my life and the loves of my life. My daughters have never been on a red carpet with me in public, tonight was their first night so here they are, Sunday and Faith.”

Kidman, who is nominated for the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, recently lost her own mother Janelle in September at the age of 84 celebrated her life at the 2025 Palm Springs International Film Festival on Friday, January 3rd.
She dedicated her International Star Award to her mother, tearfully saying: “I want to dedicate it – because I didn’t make it to the Venice Film Festival. I couldn’t do that because I arrived in Venice and she was gone. I got the call and said:Baby girl Director) We don’t have it (reins), “Can you come on stage and accept the award for me?” And she did. But now I’m on stage and I’m here again.”
Kidman continued, “Thank you so much for giving me the chance to say, ‘This is for my mom.’ My whole career was for my mother and father, who are not here now. I will continue to work and give to the world because I love what I do and I love you all and I am so grateful for the privilege of being part of the film community.”
“I’m sorry for crying. I didn’t want to do that,” the actress said. “But I’m feeling my mom right now, so this is for you, mom.”
Kidman’s father Anthony died in September 2014 at the age of 75.
At Friday’s ceremony, Kidman added of her parents: “They gave me the resilience, they gave me the love and they gave me the strength to keep moving forward.”
