Nicole Kidman celebrated the beginning of 2025 Awards season along with her 16-year-old daughter Sunday Rose In the magazine‘s annual Best Performances Party in Los Angeles.

Kidman, who is nominated for the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, recently lost her own mother Janelle in September at the age of 84 celebrated her life at the 2025 Palm Springs International Film Festival on Friday, January 3rd.

She dedicated her International Star Award to her mother, tearfully saying: “I want to dedicate it – because I didn’t make it to the Venice Film Festival. I couldn’t do that because I arrived in Venice and she was gone. “I’m sorry for crying. I didn’t want to do that,” the actress said. “But I’m feeling my mom right now, so this is for you, mom.”

Kidman’s father Anthony died in September 2014 at the age of 75.

At Friday’s ceremony, Kidman added of her parents: “They gave me the resilience, they gave me the love and they gave me the strength to keep moving forward.”
