Autumn comes a little late in our area, but makes up for it by lasting longer, sometimes even into January. So it was rather summery here in September and early October, but now it’s really starting to feel like autumn, a lovely time to be outside.
On Tuesday my group went on a long group ride to the hills east of Gilroy. The next day I did a long round trip on the Coyote Creek Trail northwest of Morgan Hill and also did my upper body strength training. These all remain inside me safe intensity limits because of my leaky heart valve and I was fine. Yesterday was a rest day, so I just took a quick stroll around the city for an hour.
