Eddie Howe, Manager of Newcastle, says he does not expect his squad to change before the transfer window ended after the striker Miguel Almiron has gone this week.
Almiron returned to the MLS Side Atlanta for £ 8 million, but Howe does not expect to replace him with a new signing.
He said: “Apart from something great, we knew that we hadn’t expected it to be a window in which we could recruit.
“I said that from the beginning and although this was associated with numerous players, this is still the case.
“We are not trying to bring players in, but hopefully the squad is in a decent place if we can get Callum Wilson and Harvey Barnes fit and shoot again within a few weeks. I think the squad will look good.
“Since we are now, I’m not currently (see more expenses), but things can change. If we are at the moment, I expect the squad to stay the same. “

Striker Wilson made only four appearances for the club this season because he has to struggle with injuries, but is back in training, while wing players should no longer fail Barnes for another three weeks.
“It is probably not ideal for us at this moment to be easy in this position, but it is what it is and I always said I have no problems dealing with it,” said Howe.
“I try to make the best of the situation, so we will look at solutions and players in different positions if we have to. This is my job to try to find a solution when that happens. “
