“Bling Empire: New York” star Lynn Ban has died at age 51 after undergoing brain surgery following a skiing accident!
We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Bling Empire: New York star Lynn Ban at the age of 51. Her son confirmed the heartbreaking news on Instagramjust a few weeks later Lynn was involved in a devastating skiing accident on Christmas Eve.
The tragic event led to her being hospitalized and she initially held out hope for her recovery. Here’s what we know about the circumstances that led to her death. Lynn had shared that she was “grateful” and “blessed” to see 2025. On Christmas Eve, while vacationing with family in Aspen, Colorado, Lynn suffered a serious skiing accident.
In one Instagram In her post, she described the moment she put her “face on” after getting a tip while skiing. Luckily she was wearing a helmet and managed to ski down to the base of the mountain.
However, after a headache occurred, Lynn went to a local hospital where doctors diagnosed a brain hemorrhage. She was immediately flown to a trauma center for further treatment.
Lynn was intubated and underwent an emergency craniotomy, and although she knew she faced a “long road to recovery,” she remained optimistic and grateful. “Grateful and blessed to see 2025,” she wrote, showing her determination to persevere.
Tragically, Lynn passed away less than a month later on January 20, 2025, and her son Sebastian shared a heartfelt tribute to her on Instagram. “I love you more than life itself,” he shared, expressing how much he would miss her.
Accordingly NYPD Sources, Lynn was found dead by her husband in their Tribeca home, Jett Cain, on January 20th around 1:30 p.m. It followed Lynn’s Announcement on December 30th in which she spoke about her skiing accident.
“At the top of the mountain I caught a peak and planted myself in the face. Luckily I always wear a helmet. “It didn’t look so bad back then and I was able to ski all the way down,” she wrote at the time. In the post, Lynn mentioned that she decided to get checked for a concussion by the ski patrol, but she was cleared.
However, after experiencing a headache, she sought further medical attention.
“The last thing I remember was being intubated and waking up after an emergency craniotomy Jett by my side,” she revealed in an emotional update. IIn the days following her death, friends and fans were among them Bling Empire star Dorothy Wang, shared tributes and warm messages of support. Dorothy described Lynn as “tough as nails” and promised to never forget her, like many others who mourned her untimely loss.
