My Arcade unveils Gamestation Retro devices bundled with games
As part of its appearance at CES 2025, manufacturer of gaming peripherals and consoles My arcade introduced a range of new hardware products, all aimed at showcasing retro games. The variety of devices ranged from handhelds to tabletop arcade cabinets, and some were made in collaboration with gaming companies such as Bandai Namco and Capcom.
The biggest reveal at the event was My Arcade’s Gamestation Retro collection, which includes three different products: The Gamestation Retro Go, a handheld device; the Gamestation Retro Pro, a console; and the Gamestation Retro Mega, a tabletop arcade cabinet. All three are scheduled to be available in the third quarter and will feature a number of retro games included in each machine, including Pac-Man, Galaga, Pole Position, Street Fighter 2 and Mega Man, among others.
The GameStation Retro devices cost around $200, $150, and $300. According to My Arcade, this line of consoles is part of its mission to “bring retro gaming to a modern audience.” The company also announced two different controllers, the Gamestation Retro Gamepad and the Gamestation Retro Arcade Stick.
The company also unveiled – or perhaps re-revealed – its Super RetroChamp console, a handheld that can play SNES and Sega Genesis cartridges. It can also be set up and used with other controllers, especially for those who want to play cooperatively. My Arcade originally introduced the Super RetroChamp at CES 2020 and is reportedly planning to launch it later this year.
