The general confederation of companies in Morocco (CGem) and the government of the Nigerian state of Ogun signed a memorandum of understanding in Abeokuta to strengthen their economic cooperation in several sectors, including agriculture, agricultural times, energy and industry.
This agreement has initialized the Vice President of the Cemn Africa Commission Ali Zerouali and the governor of the state of Ogun, Dapo Abiodun, to start joint projects, to exchange good practices and to promote sustainable development and infrastructure.

Dapo Abiodun has highlighted Morocco’s skills in key sectors and its surroundings, which is beneficial for investments. This agreement is part of a dynamic of strengthening the Moroccan Nigerian relationships, which are initiated by the royal visit from 2016.
