The authorities of the Prefecture of Tangier Police have neutralized an international traffic attempt of 5,758 tons of Chira near Moulay Bousselham.
This operation, which was carried out in cooperation with the General Directorate for Territory Surveillance (DGST), led to the arrest of two people who were suspected of being associated with a criminal network specializing in drug trafficking.
The first suspect was recorded in the law on board a truck registered abroad and transported 140 bales from Chira. In addition, a woman was arrested in connection with this case in Kenitra.
The two suspects are currently in police custody to deepen the investigation and identify possible accomplices.
