Rabat-in Framework of the “IFTAR RAMADAN 1446-2025” initiative will distribute the royal guard in Morocco’s Four meals throughout the holy month in need.
Every year the program ensures that families in need of protection receive a warm meal while Ramadan.
The company extends to several cities. In Rabat, the distribution in Dar ES Salam, Touarga, Souissi as well as in the Oncology Hospital of Moulay Abdellah and Avicenne Children’s Hospital takes place.
Other cities that participate in the initiative include sales, Tangier, Tetouan and Marrakech.
In the course of the month, a total of 150,000 meals will be distributed to ensure that families who are confronted with difficulties have access to a warm and nutritious thumb.
To ensure smooth operations, the Royal Guard will coordinate with the local authorities at distribution centers. Officials will monitor the process to ensure that families receive meals under the best conditions.
Morocco takes apart with inflation and it is becoming increasingly difficult for families to keep up with the daily expenses.
Basic needs that were once affordable are now often too expensive and are out of reach for many families.
With the Ramadan, the prices for staples, from tomatoes to meat and dairy products, and tighten the loop for Moroccans and their pockets.
At this point, the initiative is trying to brighten part of the financial burden by offering relief to those who fight to eat properly.
At the beginning of this month, Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and Princess Lalla Khadija launched Another similar solidarity initiative called “Ramadan 1446” in order to extend the need for the support of families.
With a budget of MAD 330 million (33 million US dollars), this year’s efforts delivered 34,280 tons of food supply.
The help includes essential staple foods such as flour, milk, rice, oil, sugar, tomato concentrate, pasta and tea.
