Despite the challenges, he made it clear that playing was a top priority for Morocco.
“The core is Moroccan, but they grew up differently. A Spaniard is not the same as a Frenchman, and a Frenchman is not the same as a Dutch player. But my job is to understand them that Morocco comes first – they are here to fight for the national team, ”he said.
Regragui also revealed that he adapts his communication with the culture of every player and optimized his approach, depending on whether he speaks to a French-Moroccan, a German-Moroccan or Spanish-Moroc Canal.
“The way they speak to a French player is not the same as with a Spanish or German-Moroccan player. But what connects them all is their love for Morocco, their families and their roots, ”he said.
