Rabat – The Moroccan tennis player Lina Bezza has won the U10 -African championship (under 16) in the singles category. The tournament took place from April 15th to 19th in Cairo, Egypt.
Bezza was crowned a champion on Saturday after a strong performance in the last game. She defeated the Egyptian player Zeina El Gherby in straight sets with 6: 1, 6: 2.
The young Moroccan star showed great skills and determination throughout the game and was able to achieve a well -deserved victory.
The tournament brought together some of the best aspiring tennis talents from all over Africa. It took place in the Egyptian capital for over five days and showed many and competitive games.
In the same category, another Moroccan player, Reda El Aouni, took third place. He won the bronze medal after his opponent, the Tunisian player Ahmed Dermoul, was forced after the first set of the third game. El Aouni had won the first set 6-1.
