Morocco was appointed Vice President of the Board of African Water Minister (AMCOW) for the North Africa region for the mandate 2025-2027 during a meeting of the Amcow Executive Committee.
The Minister of Equipment and Water, Nizar Baraka, congratulated Egypt on his former mandate and expressed his support in Senegal, which will take over the management.
“The Kingdom of Morocco, which takes over and ensures the Vice President of the Council for the North African region for the next mandate 2025-2027“Said the minister.
He also recognized Mauretan’s efforts and underlined Morocco’s commitment to the water problems of the water. In addition, Nizar Baraka confirmed the importance of cooperation with African countries in the water area and announced that Morocco will organize a meeting to develop an African water vision over 2025
