Morocco-Spain: The King of Spain underlines the special nature of the relationship

King Felipe VI of Spain highlighted the “special” relations between Spain and Morocco and called for this cooperation to be strengthened in a spirit of friendship and good neighborliness.

During his speech at the 9th Conference of Spanish Ambassadors, he stressed the importance of continuing the development of the bilateral agenda with Morocco.
“We will continue to advance our bilateral agenda with Morocco, a country with which we must continue our cooperation in the spirit of friendship and cooperation within the framework of our special neighborly relations.“explained the King of Spain.

He also spoke about the crucial role of Spain’s strategic alliances, especially in forums such as the 5+5 Dialogue and the Union for the Mediterranean, with the aim of promoting regional cooperation.

Finally, the King spoke about the importance of strengthening relations with the African continent and welcomed the new Spain-Africa Strategy 2025-2028 as a crucial roadmap.
