Morocco claimed the title of African Vice Champion in the category “Tennis of the under-14.
The Moroccan team, which included four boys and four girls, earned two paneling of the boys and two semi-final appearances in girls and doubles thanks to strong single and team performances, including a double title of the boys.
Kamil Rhazali and Soulaimane Jamji triumphed at the young double event and defeated Egypt Mohamed Genidy and Abdellatif Mostafa in the final to secure the gold medal.
Rhazali reached the final in the young singles, but was narrowly defeated by Genidy and claimed the silver medal. Jamji rounded off the podium by reaching third place after overwhelming the Nigeria Chukrudubem Amasi.
At the women’s events, Hind Hennaoui and Zineb Ouazzani Hassani both achieved the semi -finals in both singles and in doubles, which continued to contribute to the strong overall performance of Morocco.
With these achievements, Morocco took second place in the championships and only remained Tunisia in the last ranking.
