The Moroccan Office for Industrial and Commercial real estate (OMPIC) announced The expansion of its electronic business creation platform nationwide.
This platform offers a central interface for all necessary administrative procedures, including key companies such as Impic, the Ministry of Justice, the General Secretariat of the Government, the General Directorate for Taxes (DGI) and the National Security Fund (CNSS).
The platform was initially launched as a pilot project in Rabat in Rabat and gradually expanded to other big cities, including Casablanca, Marrakech, Agadir, Tanger, Fez, Oujda, Laayoune, Beni Mellal and Dakhla. It has now become available across the country.
The platform has made it easier since its start electronic Creation of over 12,000 companies and registered over 2,400 specialists to use their services.
This initiative aims to simplify the creation of companies, to improve the Moroccos business environment and attract investments. Impic monitors this project in cooperation with various state institutions, including the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Economics and Finance and other relevant areas.
The implementation of this platform is supported by legal reforms, including three laws, two decrees and two ministerial orders. These reforms define the role of IPIC, determine procedures for registration of electronic companies and define the framework for the jurisdiction involved.
Through digitization and tightening of administrative procedures, this platform is expected to accelerate entrepreneurship and contribute to the economic growth in Morocco.
The new platform corresponds to the 2030 digital strategy in Morocco with a vision of creating 3,000 startups by the end of the decade. Morocco has assigned 11 billion for 2024-2026 MAD to train 100,000 people in the digital area annually and enrich the sector with 240,000 jobs.
