Morocco-Benin and Morocco-Angola: Two international agreements approved by the government


The government council noted on Thursday by two international agreements presented by the Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita. The first agreement, which was signed on February 15, 2024 in Cotonou near Benin, focuses on cooperation in the field of fishing and aquaculture. It provides for a maritime training, fishing research and the development of aquaculture with experts from specialist knowledge and educational visits.

Bill No. 15.24 With regard to this agreement, it was also examined. The aim is to create a framework for the cooperation between the two countries for the implementation of common programs in the fishing sector and the promotion of professional skills.

The second agreement concerns the cooperation between Morocco and Angola in the areas of university education, scientific research and innovation. It provides for the mobility of teacher researchers, the development of skills and the exchange of experiences for creating training sectors and university institutions.

These agreements are part of the desire to strengthen international cooperation in Morocco in key sectors and thus consolidate bilateral relationships with Benin and Angola.
