Rabat – Three Moroccan researchers from Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) won the Jury in the 15th edition of the International Invention Fair in the Middle East (IIFME 2025) Grand Gold Medal. The event took place in Kuwait from February 16 to 19.
The Moroccan team that consisted of researchers Hafid GriguerPresent Younes Zaarour and Rafiq El Alami were recognized for their technological invention to secure documents using digital identities.
Their invention uses an innovative technology called T3 to protect the authenticity of official documents and prevent manipulations.
This system integrates digital authentication with physical identity and enables it to combine paper documents with a digital system to ensure their authenticity and to improve security.
This technology was also recognized at the 2024 World Summit Awards (WSA), where it was recognized as one of the best global technological innovations.
In a contribution about LinkedIn, Griguer expressed Proud of this recognition and found that their innovation also received the main prize of the Arabic work organization under the league of the Arab countries, “for their significant contribution to technological and administrative advances in the region”.
He said that their technology developed by Senshings “revolutionizes the security of the documents by integrating digital certification into phygital identity and providing a powerful sign against fraud and falsification”.
For Griguer, this performance reflects the “power of Moroccan innovation and excellence”.
Remarkable personalities were present at the award ceremony, including the representative of the Kronprinzen Kuwai, the General Secretary of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Morocco Ambassador in Kuwait, Ali Benaissa.
