Moroccan police arrested the individual for drug trafficking
Marrakech – The judicial police in Marrakech, based on the exact secret services provided by the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST), took a person with a criminal register who was suspected of being involved in a case of drug possession and trade in narcotics and psychotropical substances.
The 35-year-old suspect was arrested in coordination with elements of the Royal Gendarmerie in the Tamanansours region near Marrakech, said a security source, and added that the search carried out at 14,185 “ecstasy” psychotropic tablets in his possession.
A subsequent search for his residence in Marrakech led to another 6,000 medical psychotropic tablets confiscated, which brought the total number of confiscated tablets to 20,185, confirmed the same source.
The prisoner was examined under the supervision of the responsible public prosecutor in order to clarify all aspects of the case and to determine possible connections to wider criminal activities.
