An envelope of more than 70 million DH will devote itself to the projects that aim to protect the cities of Fez and El Hajeb from the risk of flooding. Two partnership agreements were concluded in this direction and during the board of directors of the Hydraulikbecken agency in Sebou (departure) as in 2024 last week under the presidency of the Minister of Water and Equipment, Nizar Baraka.
The members of the council approved an appendix to a partnership agreement with the extension of 36 to 72 months of the realization of the protective project of the city of Fez, the chief city of the region, against the floods for a global investment of 55 million DH. The project for the development of OUED LAHMAR and AIN SMAN should be carried out as part of a partnership between the ABS, the National Railway Office (OnCF), the Ministry of Economics and Financing, the Council of Fès-Meknès-Region, the Prefe Council of the Fès and the Wilaya of the region.
For El Hajeb, a total investment project of 16.82 million DH is planned against floods in the context of the protective efforts of this city status. Note that the implementation time was brought to 54 months instead of 36.
