Marvel Snap will then be online again in the USA shut down alongside TikTokSecond Dinner has announced. Also the developer of the game said on X that it is partnering with a new publisher and working to offer more services in-house to “ensure something like this never happens again.” This weekend, Marvel Snap went offline along with the other apps developed by or affiliated with ByteDance, including video editing tool CapCut, social media app Lemon8 and of course TikTok. The trading card game was published by Nuverse, a subsidiary of ByteDance, for Android, iOS and Windows.
We still couldn’t find the app to download when we searched for it, but Second Dinner said in a reply to X that it’s still working on restoring the game to Google Play and the App Store. “It may take some time,” the developer added. It was also said that they are still working on fixing the in-app purchase errors that are occurring for fans who have already installed the game. Currently, players can purchase credits, boosters, passes and packages from Marvel Snap Webshop while Second Dinner works to fix the problem.
TikTok was the first ByteDance app to come back online. It was out of service in the US for less than a full day before this was announced Restore his service in the country “in agreement with (his) service providers”. CapCut and Lemon8 are not yet available at this time. Shortly after taking office, President Donald Trump signed an executive order take a 75 day break on the law that banned TikTok in the country. Trump, who also sought to ban TikTok in the U.S. while in office, said the timing of enforcement “impacts his ability to assess the national security and foreign policy implications of the law’s bans before they take effect.”
MARVEL SNAP is back online in the USA. But to make sure something like this NEVER happens again, we’re working on bringing more services in-house and partnering with a new publisher. This is the beginning of a new era for MARVEL SNAP.
We know this probably leaves you with even more questions than…
