Rabat – The National Confederation of Tourism (CNT) described Marrakech as the tourism capital Morocco, since the city continues to attract thousands of visitors during the holy month of Ramadan.
General Secretary of the CNT Mustapha Amalik said that the city continues to increase its position as a tourism capital Morocco and the situation ascribes the efforts of the stakeholders in the tourism sector.
“The Marrakech Safi region as a total of ongoing tourism dynamics in the course of the year,” added Amalik, finding that experts offer different services in the industry that attract tourism from all categories.
In his explanation of the Moroccan news agency map, he said that many tourists choose Marrakech as a holiday destination, especially in the holy month, to explore the city’s cultural aspects.
“Ramadan is an ideal time for innovation through the presentation of a rich and varied tourism product in which hospitality, parts, solidarity and spirituality come together,” he said, pointing out that the upcoming school holidays will also have a very positive influence on the arrival of domestic tourists.
At the beginning of this month, Morocco’s Ministry of Tourism celebrated positive statistics and found a remarkable increase in the industry.
The ministry said that almost 2.7 million tourists came in Morocco by the end of February.
Marrakech is one of the top goals visited by local and international tourists and has created the top of the lists in international magazines with Morocco’s destinations.
In January, Tripadvisor Marrakech showed one of the “best of the best travel destinations” for 2025.
Tripadvisor described the red city as a “magical place” and invited the travelers to explore the open courtyards and the snakes of alleys of the medina and the inner peace in Jardin Majorelle.
Visitors can also “record the beauty of the city’s historical mosques,” says the travel website.
Morocco attracted Over 17.4 million tourists last year, and the country is still interested in put on Other tourists in the coming years.
Morocco is scheduled to attract at least 26 million tourists by 2030.
