On the occasion of the commemoration of the Independence Manifesto, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) inaugurated a new training school in Marrakech called “Marrakesh Peacekeepers Training School”. The main objective of this school is to strengthen the police training system and expand its absorption capacity by offering programs tailored to trainees in the peacekeeper cycle, while contributing to the continuous improvement of training.

The opening of this school is part of a global project launched in 2016 to modernize police training infrastructure as part of a reform of the security function. It joins other existing training institutions in the country, such as the Royal Police Institute and the future Higher Police Training Center in Ifrane.

Built on 7,826 m², the school in Marrakech can accommodate 500 trainees and offers facilities such as accommodation, training rooms, sports equipment and a medical area.
